About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Gastroenterologist to provide remote consultations and medical support to patients dealing with digestive system disorders. The role involves virtual diagnosis, treatment planning, and continuous patient management through telemedicine platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients experiencing gastrointestinal issues
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as:
- Acid reflux (GERD), IBS, IBD
- Liver diseases, pancreatitis
- Gastritis, ulcers, and other digestive disorders
- Review patient history, lab reports, and diagnostic tests remotely
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with medical guidelines
- Provide dietary and lifestyle recommendations
- Coordinate with internal teams (nutritionists, psychologists, care managers) for holistic care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction
Eligibility Criteria
- MD/DNB in Gastroenterology (mandatory)
- Valid medical license to practice
- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience (telemedicine experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases and treatment protocols
- Comfortable using teleconsultation tools and EMR systems
