Consultant – Medical Gastroenterology
Location: Kakinada
Experience: 2+ Years
Qualification: MD/DNB (General Medicine) and/or MD/DNB in Gastroenterology (Medical Gastroenterology)
Role Overview
We are looking for a Consultant in Medical Gastroenterology to provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders in a multi-specialty hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, hepatic, and pancreatic disorders
- Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures (UGI endoscopy, colonoscopy, etc.)
- Provide outpatient and inpatient care for GI patients
- Develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Handle emergency GI cases and complications
- Collaborate with surgeons and other specialties for multidisciplinary care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and clinical standards
Requirements
- MD/DNB in General Medicine with Gastroenterology experience and/or
- MD/DNB in Medical Gastroenterology
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a hospital setup
- Experience in endoscopic procedures preferred
- Valid medical registration
