Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in diagnosing and treating diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and biliary system, along with performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders.
- Evaluate and treat GERD, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, IBS, IBD, gastrointestinal bleeding, and other digestive disorders.
- Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic endoscopic procedures.
- Perform therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCP.
- Manage patients with acute and chronic liver diseases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital protocols.
- Participate in CMEs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- DM in Gastroenterology.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
- Fellowship or advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy will be an added advantage
Experience
- Experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in a multi-speciality hospital is preferred.
- Freshly qualified DM candidates with strong clinical and procedural skills are also encouraged to apply.
