Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Garment Production Incharge, based in Chandigarh. The role involves overseeing all aspects of garment production, including monitoring production schedules, ensuring quality control, and meeting delivery deadlines. The Production Incharge will manage staff, allocate resources, oversee inventory and supply chain processes, and ensure compliance with industry and workplace safety standards. The role also includes regular communication and collaboration with vendors and other departments to optimize production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in garment production management, including scheduling, resource planning, and quality control
- Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, and supply chain processes
- Experience in team leadership, staff supervision, and effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry standards, compliance requirements, and workplace safety regulations
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving production challenges
- Attention to detail and ability to work under high-pressure conditions to meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field (preferred)
- Relevant work experience in garment production management, factory operations, or similar roles
