Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Marketing & Sales Professional to join our China office. The role will focus on expanding PGA’s business presence, building strong relationships with international buyers and suppliers, supporting sales growth, and enhancing brand visibility across the apparel and textile industry.
The ideal candidate should have experience in garment/textile sales, sourcing, or marketing, strong communication skills, and a good understanding of global fashion and manufacturing trends.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with international brands, retailers, and sourcing offices.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
- Present PGA’s manufacturing capabilities, product categories, and sourcing solutions to prospective clients.
- Coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams to support client requirements.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings.
Marketing & Brand Building
- Support PGA’s global marketing initiatives and brand communication.
- Create and manage presentations, client proposals, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts including LinkedIn, email campaigns, and industry outreach.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights within the apparel sector.
- Assist in developing creative campaigns focused on sustainability, innovation, and textile expertise.
Client & Project Coordination
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and sample developments.
- Maintain regular communication with buyers regarding timelines, product updates, and production status.
- Work closely with internal teams across China, India, and Hong Kong offices to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fashion, Business, Textile, or related field.
- 2–6 years of experience in apparel/textile sales, merchandising, sourcing, or marketing.
- Strong understanding of garment manufacturing and textile supply chains.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Mandarin proficiency preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced international business environment.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network within the fashion/apparel industry is an advantage.
- Experience handling international buyers or sourcing offices.
- Knowledge of sustainable textiles and fashion trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, PowerPoint, and digital marketing platforms.
