Role Description
The Garment Knitted Pattern Master will oversee the creation, development, and calibration of patterns for knitted garments. This full-time, on-site position is based in Vadipatti. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing standardized garment patterns, modifying patterns as per customer requirements, collaborating with the production team to ensure precision, and conducting quality checks to guarantee compliance with standards. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of garment design trends and textile innovations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in garment pattern making and developing knitted designs.
- Must have working expereince in optitex and Tukatek pattern making softwares.
- Proficiency in pattern modification and fitting adjustments.
- Understanding of garment sizing, grading, and fabric utilization best practices.
- Knowledge of fabric properties, including elasticity and stretching behavior of knitted materials.
- Familiarity with garment production processes and quality assurance methods.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills in pattern development.
- Capability to work collaboratively with design and production teams to meet deadlines.
- Experience in utilizing pattern-making software is a plus.
- Formal training or certification in garment technology or a related field is advantageous.
