Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Garment Accessories Assistant. The position involves managing and coordinating garment accessory requirements for production orders, sourcing and procuring high-quality accessories, and maintaining inventory records. The Assistant will collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of accessories. Additional responsibilities include conducting quality checks, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining cost-effectiveness in procurement.
Qualifications
- Understanding of garment accessories, such as buttons, zippers, labels, and embellishments
- Strong skills in inventory management and stock tracking
- Proficiency in vendor coordination, including sourcing and supplier negotiations
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks on materials
- Basic knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly accessory options
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Prior experience in the garment or textile industry is an added advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Management, or a related field is preferred
