Role Description The Gardener role at Treemendous is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The gardener will be responsible for day-to-day landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, weeding, soil care, and ensuring the health and appearance of indoor and outdoor plants. This role involves supporting the installation and upkeep of vertical gardens, moss walls, and premium planter arrangements, following design guidelines and care schedules. The gardener will monitor irrigation systems, adjust watering routines, apply fertilizers and pest control as needed, and keep work areas clean and safe. Collaboration with the design and maintenance team, adherence to safety practices, and professional interaction with clients at project sites are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Gardening and Landscape Maintenance for both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in Landscaping and Garden Design to support layout planning and plant selection.
- Candidates should possess skills in Irrigation management, including basic knowledge of watering systems and moisture control.
- Basic understanding of plant health, soil types, fertilizers, and pest and disease identification.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow maintenance schedules and safety guidelines.
- Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred; vocational training or certification in horticulture is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients; familiarity with urban or corporate landscaping environments is beneficial.
