Location: India (Delhi On-site and/or Remote – TBD)

Job Type: Full-Time | National Role

Compensation: ₹140,000–₹180,000 INR/month base salary + performance bonus based on experience and fit

Reports to: Country Lead – CLS India

Team: Works with product, marketing, and engineering teams supporting platform growth and engagement

Position Overview

The Gamification Product Lead will be responsible for designing and implementing gamified systems that drive participation, engagement, and fundraising behavior across CLS India’s national programs.

This role focuses on building behavior-driven digital systems that motivate large numbers of participants to take meaningful actions such as fundraising, sharing campaigns, completing challenges, and maintaining long-term engagement.

We are looking for someone who understands game mechanics, behavioral psychology, and digital product design, and who can translate these principles into scalable systems used by tens of thousands of users monthly.


Key Responsibilities

1) Gamified Participation & Fundraising System

Design and implement gamification mechanics that increase participant engagement and fundraising activity within CLS programs.

Build and manage systems including:

• Points and achievement systems tied to fundraising and campaign actions

• Leaderboards and ranking structures to create healthy competition

• Levels, milestones, and progression systems for participants

• Challenges, quests, and missions that encourage daily activity

• Reward systems including recognition, badges, and incentive structures


2) User Journey Optimization

Analyze the full participant journey from registration → activation → fundraising.

Identify friction points and redesign the flow to improve:

• user activation

• participation rates

• fundraising activity

• retention and repeat engagement

Collaborate with product and marketing teams to implement improved UX and behavioral triggers.


3) Engagement & Community Systems

Create systems that encourage ongoing participation such as:

• weekly challenges

• streak mechanics

• community milestones

• referral and team-based competitions

• recognition systems for top contributors


4) Data & Performance Optimization

Monitor platform engagement metrics and fundraising performance.

Track key indicators such as:

• registration to activation conversion

• participant engagement rates

• fundraising output per participant

• campaign growth and retention

Continuously test and refine gamification systems to improve results.


Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Game Design, Behavioral Science, Computer Science, or related field.

3–6+ years experience in one or more of the following:

• gamification design

• product growth

• engagement systems

• digital product development

• behavioral UX


Experience designing or implementing:

• points systems

• reward mechanics

• progression systems

• engagement loops

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate user behavior into system improvements.

• Experience working with digital platforms, CRM systems, or large-scale user engagement products is preferred.

• Fluency in English required.
