Modern Mint is hiring a builder-minded intern to help bring our tabletop game to life digitally. You’ll script gameplay logic, build clean UI/UX, and deploy the game on Tabletop Simulator or Board Game Arena. Ideal for someone who enjoys game systems, rapid prototyping, and experimenting with tools to build working projects quickly.
Responsibilities
- Script basic game mechanics and interactions in Tabletop Simulator (Lua) or Board Game Arena
- Implement core gameplay rules and automate repetitive actions
- Build and polish clean UI/UX elements (buttons, menus, player actions)
- Test and debug gameplay to ensure smooth game flow
- Deploy and maintain the Modern Mint game on TTS or BGA and improve it based on feedback
Required Skills
- Basic scripting ability (Lua, JavaScript, or similar)
- Ability to translate game rules into working code
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design for interactive systems
- Ability to debug scripts and iterate quickly
- Experience with Tabletop Simulator Lua scripting (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Board Game Arena Studio or GitHub (Preferred)
