About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and creative Game Developer Intern to join our development team. The intern will assist in designing, developing, and testing interactive games across platforms such as mobile, web, or PC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in game development and work with industry-standard tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist in developing 2D and/or 3D games using game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine
· Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C#, C++, or relevant programming languages
· Support game mechanics, features, and gameplay systems implementation
· Debug, test, and fix bugs to ensure smooth gameplay experience
· Collaborate with designers, artists, and developers to bring game ideas to life
· Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
· Optimize game performance and responsiveness
· Document development processes and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field
· Basic knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, or any game engine
· Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, C++, or Java
· Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
· Basic knowledge of game design principles
· Problem-solving and logical thinking skills
· Passion for games and game development
Preferred Skills (Optional)
· Experience working on personal or academic game projects
· Knowledge of 2D/3D graphics, animation, or physics systems
· Familiarity with version control tools like Git
· Knowledge of mobile game development (Android/iOS)
· Basic understanding of AR/VR game development
