About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Game Developer to join our expanding development team at IACG Multimedia College. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging gameplay features for our educational gaming projects. This role involves integrating various assets, optimizing game performance across multiple platforms, and collaborating closely with artists, designers, and content creators to deliver high-quality learning experiences. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that aim to transform education through gamified and interactive media. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for game development, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience working with the Unity Game Engine and C#. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, prefabs, scene management, coroutines, and event handling is essential. Experience in deploying and optimizing WebGL builds for web-based games and proficiency in developing for mobile platforms is required. Familiarity with UI systems, game loops, animations, and asset workflows will be advantageous. Candidates should also have strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills, particularly for mobile and WebGL environments. Additional knowledge of REST APIs, UnityWebRequest, VFX Graph, particle systems, shader effects, and version control tools like Git will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining gameplay features using Unity and C#. You will be tasked with building, optimizing, and deploying WebGL and mobile games to ensure seamless user experiences across platforms. Implementing intuitive UI interactions, animations, and gameplay logic will be key to creating engaging educational content. You will work closely with artists and designers to ensure smooth asset integration and visual consistency. Debugging and profiling will be essential to identify and resolve performance issues, ensuring games run efficiently on various devices. Participating in code reviews and maintaining clean, scalable code practices is expected. Additionally, you will integrate third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertisements, and platform-specific services to enhance game functionality and monetization strategies.
