Role Description
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in validating the functionality and performance of Guidewire and Duck Creek applications. You will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, performing system and integration testing, and providing detailed test reports. Your expertise in property and casualty insurance domains will be essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements and functionalities of Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and Duck Creek applications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
- Create and maintain test data.
- Develop detailed test scripts and test cases.
- Execute system, integration, and regression tests as planned.
- Maintain existing test scripts and update them with necessary changes.
- Provide detailed test reports to the program team.
- Analyze test results and identify defects.
- Track and manage defects using defect tracking tools.
- Perform thorough testing of Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Perform thorough testing of Duck Creek applications.
- Gain and maintain good knowledge in Smartcomms for document generation workflow and VRD for document storage workflow.
- Experience in coordinating with different teams to understand the requirement and test accordingly.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure effective communication and understanding of testing requirements and outcomes.
- Provide demos or walk-throughs of functionality.

Qualifications
Experience :
- 4 to 12 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Guidewire and Duck Creek applications.
- Proven experience in system testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
- Strong expertise in Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
- Strong expertise in Duck Creek applications.
- Good knowledge of Smartcomms and VRD workflows.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Understanding of SQL and database testing.
