Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a G-Card Holder based at the Mumbai location. The G-Card Holder will be responsible for facilitating the customs clearance process, preparing and submitting documentation to relevant authorities, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Key tasks include working closely with customs officials, addressing any clearance issues, and ensuring smooth cargo handling operations. The role requires efficient coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage timely and accurate customs clearance for shipments.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, regulations, and documentation
- Experience in cargo handling, freight forwarding, and import/export processes
- Familiarity with logistics management tools, IT systems, and real-time tracking software
- Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with customs authorities and other stakeholders
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for addressing compliance and clearance issues
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with ODC and multimodal logistics is an advantage
- Current and valid G-Card certification, along with an understanding of trade and transportation documentation
