About this role Fynd Commerce Platform is SaaS based and is focussed on penetrating the commerce market in India and globally over the next coming years. To enable this journey it needs to enable brands of various sizes and shapes to adopt and implement their businesses on the platform. When brands get on this endeavor, they will need: Technology implementation help Abilty to customize parts of their platform to their needs via extensions which are probably available or build their own extensions if they have something very specific. To support the above we need a DevEx Evangelist who will essentially build and own the product specs and technical roadmap of the experience and enablement of: Partners who will implement the solution for the brand Partners who build extensions What will you do at Fynd? Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in shaping and executing the developer experience strategy. Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement best practices for software development, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. Program Management: Lead and manage strategic technical programs related to developer experience, overseeing end-to-end delivery and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Engineering, Founders, and Partners and align everyone consistently to define program objectives, scope, milestones, and success criteria. Tooling and Infrastructure: Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge developer tools and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and productivity. Drive the adoption of industry best practices and ensure the continuous improvement of tools and processes. Collaboration and Communication: Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the engineering teams and across departments. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of goals. Will be responsible for getting the roadmap implemented and measuring the success and value of the same via some critical metrics. Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and development processes. Implement and track metrics to measure and improve code quality, developer satisfaction, and overall development efficiency. Some Specific requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Worked on Technology SaaS platforms and has hands-on experience building technology and products. Someone who has participated in building the developer experience for a product and who understands the marketplace and mindset of developers available in the market. Someone willing to communicate and manage developer communities Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on developer experience improvement. Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies. Stakeholder management and a proven track record of working with external agencies or companies Nice to Have: Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum). Previous experience as a software developer. Familiarity with [specific technologies, frameworks, or tools relevant to your company]. What do we offer?
