As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll lead the charge in designing, building, and scaling systems that support our core platform. You’ll have the autonomy to break things (responsibly), reimagine solutions, and push boundaries—while still writing code that’s clean enough to make linters weep with joy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and implement scalable backend services with performance and security at the forefront.
- Design APIs that are not just functional, but beautiful (yes, that’s a thing).
- Take ownership of projects end-to-end—from idea to deployment to iteration.
- Mentor junior developers and help raise the engineering bar across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while bringing your signature eccentricity to the table.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of backend experience in Python, Go, or Node.js (or all three if you’re feeling fancy).
- Deep understanding of system design, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), databases (SQL & NoSQL), and microservices.
- Strong grasp of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- An experimental mindset—someone who’s not afraid to test new tools, try new ideas, and challenge conventions.
