Description
- This is a remote position.
- We are seeking an experienced SQL Server MSBI Developer with 5+ years of experience to work on data processing, reporting, and integration initiatives within the Banking / Investment Banking domain.
- The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills across SQL Server and MSBI, with exposure to financial data workflows, system testing, and technical documentation.
- Experience in tax reporting (VAT/FATCA) would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data workflows.
- Build and maintain reports and data models using MSBI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
- Work with functional and technical teams to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and reporting within banking/IB operations.
- Participate in testing cycles (UAT, integration testing) and assist in defect investigation and resolution.
- Contribute to architecture documentation, solution design, and performance improvements.
Requirements
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server development.
- Strong proficiency with MSBI tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
- Ability to create and interpret technical specifications, mapping sheets, and test scenarios.
- Exposure to banking / investment banking data environments or reporting workflows.
- Understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes.
Preferred Skills (Good To Have)
- Exposure to tax reporting such as VAT / FATCA.
- Experience with Oracle ERP (EBS / Fusion) or other finance systems.
- Familiarity with financial instruments, reconciliations, or regulatory reporting.
