Work with powered and manual hand tools to repair upholstered items

Ability to fabricate and / or repair frames and install mechanisms

Knowledge of paint and stain colors for touch-ups to case goods and upholstery legs

Ability to interact with multi-tasked inspectors to achieve minimal bumped pieces on trips

Capable of handling minor case good repair through sanding, gluing, and utilizing shop supplies and tools necessary for a quick fix on surface scratches, packing marks, and minor damage to produce an industry standard product

Ability to determine manufacturer’s defects versus transit damage

Capable of learning when and how to write up a manufacturer’s debit

Communicates with Service and Sales associates on upholstery concerns and tasks
-
Makes local service calls in our Shop service call van.

Scan product with RF scanning devices

Dispose of trash/cardboard into baler/compactor and clean work area
