Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Furniture Salesperson role based in Dera Bassi. The Furniture Salesperson will welcome and assist customers in the showroom, understand their needs, and recommend suitable furniture solutions that align with their style and budget. Daily responsibilities include demonstrating product features, explaining materials and finishes, preparing quotations, and processing sales transactions. The role involves maintaining product displays, ensuring a clean and organized showroom, and following up with customers to support repeat business. The Furniture Salesperson will also collaborate with the team to meet sales targets and provide feedback on customer trends and preferences.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Product Knowledge and the ability to learn detailed features, materials, and styles of furniture.
- Candidates should possess Retail Sales and Sales skills, including closing techniques and experience working with sales targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers, build trust, and handle inquiries professionally.
- Candidates should possess basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard office software for billing and record-keeping.
- Previous experience in furniture, home décor, or retail sales is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and move showroom items as needed.
- Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a customer-focused mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or retail management is an advantage.
