Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Designer located in Jaipur. The Furniture Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces. Day-to-day tasks include sketching design ideas, selecting materials, working closely with carpenters, and ensuring that designs are both practical and cost-effective. The role also involves collaborating with clients and the production team to meet design requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Furniture Design and Furniture expertise
- Carpentry skills and understanding of material properties
- Interior Design and Product Design abilities
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of design software is a plus
- Ability to communicate design ideas effectively to teams
- Experience in the furniture manufacturing process
- Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or related field preferred
