Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Furnace Operator based in Rohtak. The Furnace Operator will be responsible for overseeing the heat treatment process, monitoring equipment, loading and unloading furnaces, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality checks. Key responsibilities will include setting up and operating furnaces, adjusting controls to achieve desired temperatures and durations, conducting inspections, and maintaining detailed production records.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of heat treatment processes such as Through Hardening, Case Hardening, Induction Hardening, and Stress Relieving
- Ability to monitor, operate, and maintain furnace equipment
- Understanding of safety standards and quality assurance practices
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing equipment
- Physical capability to manage tasks such as loading and unloading materials
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus
