The Wishing Factory is an ISO 9001:2015 certified non-profit organization, focused on enhancing the lives of underprivileged Thalassemia Warriors in India. Since its establishment in 2015, it has expanded to eight cities across the country. The organization fulfills wishes, empowers education, provides healthcare support via Thalassemia Wellness Centres, and spreads awareness about Thalassemia prevention and treatment. Driven by founder Partth Thakur, a Thalassemia Warrior, and a passionate team, The Wishing Factory collaborates with volunteers, donors, and corporate partners to deliver its mission of making impactful change possible.
Role Description
The 'Fundraising: Partnerships & Synergies Lead' is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves spearheading partnership efforts by identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with organizations and sponsors to support fundraising initiatives. The role will also focus on creating and implementing strategies for long-term financial growth, organizing events and campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Activities may include crafting proposals, managing donor communications, and leveraging corporate synergies for impactful program execution.
Qualifications
- Strong partnership development and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in strategic planning for fundraising and growth initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposal writing and donor engagement
- Knowledge of fundraising strategies and corporate sponsorships in the non-profit sector
- Proficiency in event planning and execution
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for social impact and awareness of issues related to Thalassemia or healthcare initiatives
- Comfortable with Canva for basic proposal and presentation designing, quick with technology, and fluent in essential computer and digital communication tools.
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Previous experience in nonprofit organizations or work with fundraising campaigns is a significant advantage
