Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Fundraising Officer. The Fundraising Officer will develop and implement fundraising strategies, build relationships with donors and sponsors, and organize fundraising events and campaigns. The role involves crafting compelling grant proposals, maintaining donor communication, and ensuring compliance with fundraising regulations. The Fundraising Officer will also identify and reach out to potential philanthropic opportunities, analyze trends, and provide transparent reporting on fundraising performance.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills to effectively engage with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of Philanthropy and Charities, coupled with the ability to navigate the fundraising landscape effectively.
- Proven Organization Skills, with the ability to plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative fundraising solutions.
- Experience in donor relationship management and successful grant writing is beneficial.
- Capability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a diverse team.
- Passion for social development and a strong commitment to Sarwa's mission and values.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Communications, or Marketing is preferred.
