Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Fundraising Officer. The Fundraising Officer will plan, implement, and manage fundraising campaigns to support CLSSBE’s educational and community initiatives. Responsibilities include identifying and cultivating potential donors, developing and writing proposals, maintaining donor relationships, and coordinating outreach with philanthropic organizations and charities. The role involves preparing fundraising materials, reports, and presentations, managing donor databases, and tracking progress against fundraising targets. The Fundraising Officer will collaborate with program and communications teams to align fundraising messages with ongoing projects and ensure consistent, mission-driven engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Writing skills for donor outreach, proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Knowledge of Philanthropy and Charities, including experience engaging with donors, partners, and nonprofit networks.
- Excellent Organization Skills for managing multiple campaigns, timelines, documentation, and donor records.
- Experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit management, preferably in education or community-based initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with basic office software and fundraising or CRM tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, skill-based education and social impact is highly beneficial.
