Investor Relations & Fundraising Manager - Cat II AIF Fund
What You'll Own — Investor Acquisition & Pipeline
•Source, qualify, and convert HNI/UHNI individuals and family offices into Cat II AIF fund LPs, working primarily across India's startup and business-owner ecosystem.
•Build and maintain a structured pipeline with clear stage discipline — from first conversation through investment committee presentation to commitment close.
•Own the full cycle: outbound outreach, introductory meetings, one-on-one investor calls, term discussions, and onboarding documentation.
Fund Growth & Revenue
•Deliver consistent capital commitments against quarterly and fund-close targets; compensation is directly linked to performance.
•Identify cross-sell opportunities i.e. investors who may also fit BizDateUp's other raises (Venture Studio, deal co-investments) .
•Track and report pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and capital raised to leadership on a regular cadence.
Positioning & Investor Relations
•Translate the Cat II AIF fund's venture studio thesis and deal-gate process into a clear, compelling narrative tailored to each investor's profile and risk appetite.
•Lead pitch meetings and one-on-one investor calls with confidence and factual precision.
•Collaborate with the fund's investment committee and deal team to produce investor materials: pitch decks, fund commentaries, and one-pagers.
•Act as a market intelligence node: feed investor sentiment and feedback back to the fund and venture studio teams.
Compliance & Governance
•Ensure all investor interactions, documentation, and onboarding adhere to SEBI AIF regulations and internal governance standards.
•Maintain accurate, real-time records of deal status and investor data.
What We're Looking For - Non-Negotiable
•5+ years of experience at a fund, wealth management firm, or investment bank in a sales or investor relations capacity.
•Demonstrated track record of independently acquiring HNI/UHNI clients — you have names, ticket sizes, and a story to tell.
•Solid working knowledge of venture capital / private equity fund structures and AIF regulations in India.
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify without dumbing down.
•An existing, portable network of HNI/UHNI relationships, family offices, or institutional allocators that can be brought to the fund from day one.
•Existing, portable network of HNI/UHNI relationships or family office allocators, particularly among India's startup founders and business owners.
Strong Advantage
•Experience raising for a Cat I/II AIF or venture fund.
•MBA (Finance), CFA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
•Proficiency in CRM tools.
