ABOUT THE ROLE
LTL is seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our individual giving and donor acquisition efforts. This role is primarily focused on growing LTL’s donor base through digital fundraising, performance marketing, donor acquisition campaigns, and audience growth initiatives. The role will focus on building effective fundraising campaigns, improving donor conversion journeys, and expanding donor reach through digital channels and data-driven fundraising strategies.
Over time, the role will also support donor retention, stewardship, and lifecycle engagement initiatives to strengthen long-term donor relationships and increase donor lifetime value. We are looking for someone who understands modern fundraising and can combine fundraising strategy, digital outreach, donor engagement, analytics, and CRM systems to drive sustainable donor growth.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone comfortable independently managing fundraising campaigns, donor journeys, ad optimisation, reporting, and digital fundraising execution within a lean organisation. Experience with platforms such as Mailchimp, Donorbox, and/or HubSpot is highly desirable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Donor Acquisition & Individual Giving
- Lead LTL’s individual giving and donor acquisition strategy.
- Build and optimise digital fundraising campaigns and donor conversion journeys.
- Develop audience growth strategies across paid and organic channels.
- Drive donor acquisition campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, and related digital platforms.
- Identify opportunities to grow donor reach, improve campaign performance, and increase supporter engagement.
- Independently manage and optimise fundraising campaigns, donor journeys, and digital acquisition efforts to improve fundraising ROI and campaign effectiveness.
Digital Fundraising & Campaign Optimisation
- Manage and optimise digital fundraising campaigns using performance data and donor insights.
- Monitor campaign analytics, donor behaviour, conversion rates, acquisition costs, and fundraising performance.
- Support ad optimisation strategies to improve targeting, engagement, and donor conversion.
- Use A/B testing, segmentation, and reporting to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate on fundraising content, donor messaging, and landing pages to improve donor acquisition outcomes.
Donor Journeys & Retention
- Design donor journeys across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, reactivation, and upgrade stages.
- Develop automated donor communication and nurture campaigns.
- Support donor retention and stewardship initiatives through personalised engagement strategies.
- Help improve donor experience and long-term donor value.
CRM, Systems & Donor Analytics
- Help manage and optimise fundraising systems and donor databases.
- Work with tools such as Mailchimp, Donorbox, HubSpot, and related CRM/fundraising platforms.
- Develop reporting dashboards and fundraising performance insights.
- Use donor analytics and behavioural data to support strategic decision-making and campaign optimisation.
- Track donor acquisition performance, retention trends, and supporter engagement metrics.
- Maintain accurate donor tracking and campaign reporting processes.
Additional Fundraising Channels
- Support fundraising efforts across grants, foundations, partnerships, and corporate sponsorships.
- Assist in identifying and developing diversified fundraising opportunities and long-term funding relationships.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in fundraising, digital fundraising, performance marketing, donor acquisition, growth marketing, or individual giving.
- Demonstrated success managing acquisition-focused fundraising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of donor conversion journeys, donor engagement, and lifecycle fundraising.
- Experience optimising digital ads and fundraising campaigns using analytics and performance data.
- Strong understanding of donor analytics, reporting, segmentation, and campaign optimisation.
- Hands-on experience managing digital fundraising campaigns, donor journeys, ad optimisation, and CRM-driven engagement internally without reliance on external agencies.
- Hands-on experience with Mailchimp, Donorbox, HubSpot, or similar CRM/fundraising platforms.
- Experience managing campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing, and related digital channels.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in nonprofit, social impact, healthcare, education, or purpose-led organisations.
- Familiarity with India’s nonprofit, CSR, or philanthropic fundraising landscape.
- Exposure to grants, corporate partnerships, CSR fundraising, or institutional donor engagement.
- Experience with marketing automation and donor engagement workflows.
- Familiarity with fundraising dashboards, reporting tools, and CRM integrations.
