Company Description Azad Foundation (آزاد فاؤنڈیشن) is a leading non-profit organization in India that designs innovative, scalable, and impact-focused solutions to address critical barriers to the country’s economic potential. Guided by the core values of Knowledge, Action, Care, and Impact, the organization works on universal primary education, women’s empowerment, democratizing healthcare, and improving access to safe drinking water. Azad Foundation emphasizes high-quality, low-cost, and replicable interventions, particularly in education and gender equality. By following a civic-driven change model, it actively engages civil society and like-minded partners to create sustainable, long-term social impact, especially for women and girls who are disproportionately affected by poverty and discrimination.
Role Description The Fundraising Intern will support the design and execution of fundraising campaigns to advance Azad Foundation’s programs in education, women’s empowerment, healthcare, and water access. This full-time role is based in Hyderabad in a hybrid format, combining on-site collaboration with some flexibility to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching potential donors and partners, maintaining donor databases, drafting funding proposals and outreach emails, and assisting in preparing presentations and reports. The intern will help coordinate online and offline fundraising events, social media fundraising drives, and crowdfunding initiatives in collaboration with program and communications teams. The role also involves tracking fundraising performance, supporting donor stewardship activities, and ensuring accurate documentation of contributions and donor interactions.
