Organization Description Mann Deshi Foundation was created to support India’s first rural women’s bank, founded in 1996 to give women in Mhaswad, Maharashtra access to safe and reliable financial services. The Foundation empowers women micro-entrepreneurs and their communities by providing access to knowledge, capital, markets, and social support. Programs are designed in close collaboration with women in rural communities and evolve based on their feedback and needs. Operating in Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka, Mann Deshi aims to reach one million women, with a strong focus on business skills, market access, water conservation, education, and sports development. Headquartered in drought-prone Mann Taluka, the organization is committed to transforming lives through locally rooted, women-centered initiatives.
Role Description The Fundraising and Impact Reporting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mhaswad, Maharashtra. This role is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, including identifying and cultivating donors, writing grant proposals, preparing donor reports, and managing fundraising campaigns and events. The manager will collaborate with program teams to collect, analyze, and synthesize impact data, ensuring that outcomes and stories are captured accurately and communicated clearly to funders and stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include maintaining a donor database, tracking grant timelines, coordinating with finance and program staff on budgets and deliverables, and producing high-quality impact reports, presentations, and communication materials. The role also involves building long-term relationships with institutional and individual donors, supporting monitoring and evaluation processes, and contributing to strategic planning for resource mobilization.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data for impact reporting and decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor reporting, and relationship management.
- Proficiency in Finance, including budgeting, cost tracking, and understanding program financials.
- Experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ideally in a nonprofit or social impact context.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Comfort working closely with field teams in rural settings and translating on-the-ground outcomes into compelling narratives and reports.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Development Studies, Public Policy, MBA, or a related field.
- Familiarity with monitoring and evaluation frameworks, impact metrics, and data management tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
