Engineering Lead

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to join our team at Fundamental Research Labs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented engineers in developing cutting-edge technologies that push the boundaries of what's possible. You will work closely with our research scientists to translate research ideas into practical, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and support - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research scientists and product managers, to define and execute on technical roadmaps - Drive the implementation of best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and deployment processes - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into our work - Contribute to the overall technical strategy and vision of the organization Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record of leading and managing engineering teams - Proficient in a variety of programming languages and technologies, with a deep understanding of software architecture and design patterns - Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and devise efficient solutions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams - Experience working in a fast-paced, research-driven environment is a plus - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
