Role Overview:
The Fund Operations role is a critical position responsible for ensuring the smooth and
efficient operation of our investment funds. You will work closely with the fund administrators, and
custodians to manage fund accounting, reconciliations, and compliance. This role directly impacts the
accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting and supports the firm’s ability to make informed
investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the fund accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all transactions
for multiple funds.
• Collaborate with fund administrators and custodians to resolve operational issues and improve
efficiency.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of fund accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Process payments to vendors, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory
requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and investor reports, ensuring accuracy and
compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements,
including those related to SEBI and other regulatory bodies.
• Process corporate actions related to investments and capital calls, ensuring accurate recording
and reconciliation.
• Support the onboarding of new investors and the processing of capital calls and distributions.
Required Skillset:
• Chartered Accountant OR Company Secretary with upto 2 years of experience.
• Proven ability to understand and apply relevant regulations and compliance requirements related
to fund operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with
investors, colleagues, and external partners.
• Experience in banking operations, particularly related to payments and corporate actions.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced
environment.
