Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in India for the position of Fund Controller. The role involves overseeing fund administration, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, managing complex accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The Fund Controller will act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, provide support for audits, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data related to investment funds. The role also includes working closely with finance teams to support the overall strategic objectives of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Fund Administration and Financial Statements preparation
- Proven experience in Finance and Accounting disciplines
- Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is preferred
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to navigate complex financial structures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience working in investment management or financial services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or additional certifications are advantageous
