Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fund Accounting Supervisor, based in Goregaon. The role involves overseeing fund accounting operations for investment funds, ensuring accurate NAV calculations, preparing financial statements, and reconciling financial data. Additional responsibilities include supervising a team of staff, conducting quality control reviews, liaising with stakeholders such as auditors and clients, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards. The position requires strong managerial and technical expertise in fund accounting and communication skills for efficient team coordination and client interaction.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hedge Funds and Private Equity
- Expertise in Fund Accounting, including NAV calculation and management
- Strong Financial Statements preparation skills and a deep understanding of financial reporting standards
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills and proficiency with financial data analysis
- Background in Finance and sound knowledge of investment management industry practices
- Experience in supervising teams, ensuring accuracy, and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in using relevant accounting and financial software
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent qualifications preferred)
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
