Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to support Windchill MPMLink applications and manufacturing process-management workflows. The tester will validate user stories, business requirements, data models, workflows, lifecycle behavior, access controls, integrations, layouts, and manufacturing structures to ensure delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria and is ready for release.
The role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Solution Architects, and Automation Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and design documents.
- Create detailed manual test scenarios and test cases using positive, negative, boundary, regression, integration, and role-based coverage.
- Execute manual tests for Windchill MPMLink functionality
- Validate UI labels, field visibility, attribute ordering, icons, default values, and system messages.
- Verify customized functionality against Windchill OOTB behavior.
- Perform system, integration, end-to-end, smoke, sanity, and regression testing.
- Prepare test data for manufacturing objects, structures, process plans, users, roles, and lifecycle states.
- Create, update, organize, and execute test cases in Jira and Xray.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, test cases, and defects.
- Record clear test evidence, including screenshots, logs, payloads, workflow history, and business-rule results.
- Log defects with complete reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, severity, priority, and supporting evidence.
- Re-test defect fixes and perform impact-based regression testing.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, test reviews, defect triage, and release sign-off.
- Collaborate with automation engineers to identify stable MPMLink workflows and reusable test data.
- Maintain test execution reports, traceability matrices, test documentation, and release validation summaries.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience in manual testing of enterprise web applications.
- Experience with Jira and Xray Test Management.
- Hands-on experience with Windchill, MPMLink, PLM, PDM, ERP, MES, or manufacturing applications.
- Understanding of Windchill MPMLink concepts,
- Ability to validate REST and system integrations using Postman, browser developer tools, or application logs.
- Ability to inspect and validate JSON and XML payloads.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum delivery practices.
- Experience testing browser-based applications across supported browsers.

Preferred Certifications
