Job Title: Functional Tester (with SQL Skills)
Location: PAN India
Role Overview
The Functional Tester will be responsible for validating end‑to‑end functionality of Patient Services / Life Sciences applications. This role combines strong functional testing expertise with hands‑on SQL skills to perform backend data validation, ensure business rule accuracy, and support UAT readiness for analytics‑driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, system testing for Patient Services and Life Sciences applications, including dashboards and data‑driven solutions.
- Validate end‑to‑end business workflows, ensuring alignment with documented business and functional requirements.
- Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Use SQL queries to:
- Perform backend data validation and reconciliation
- Validate report and dashboard data
- Verify calculations, aggregations, and KPIs
- Log, track, and manage defects; work closely with development and business teams to support defect triage and resolution.
- Ensure test coverage and compliance with agreed testing strategy and delivery timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Functional Testing within Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Patient Services applications.
- Hands‑on SQL expertise for data validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis.
- Experience working with analytics/reporting platforms and validating dashboards.
- Solid understanding of testing documentation such as test cases, traceability matrices, and defect logs.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools ( Jira).
