About the Role: BMW TechWorks India is looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to join our ADAS team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring Functional Safety compliance for safety-critical automotive systems by working closely with software, hardware, and system engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Functional Safety work products in accordance with ISO 26262 (Parts 3, 4 & 6).
- Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA).
- Develop Functional Safety Concept (FSC) and Technical Safety Concept (TSC).
- Conduct safety analyses including FMEA, FTA, DFA, HAZOP, and Fault Analysis.
- Define Safety Goals and Safety Requirements.
- Support ADAS, Adaptive AUTOSAR, and ASIL B development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Support Functional Safety activities with suppliers.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 implementation and safety analysis techniques.
- Functional Safety Certification is an advantage.
