Job details:
MedFits is a functional health practice delivering end-to-end online care through an integrated team of four experts — a Functional Medicine Doctor, Lifestyle Dietician, Strength & Conditioning Coach, and a Functional Movement Physiotherapist.
We're hiring a Functional Movement Physiotherapist to own the movement, biomechanics, and physical root-cause side of every client's journey.
This is not a conventional clinical role. We don't chase symptoms — we hunt the root cause. The imbalance, the movement pattern, the lifestyle habit that started it all. If that's how you already think about the body, you'll feel at home here.
What you'll do:
- Run detailed online movement assessments — postural analysis, functional movement screens, gait, mobility, and strength testing over video
- Identify the root cause of pain, dysfunction, and movement limitations — not just the symptom
- Map lifestyle factors — ergonomics, sleep posture, movement load, training history, stress patterns — and connect the dots
- Design personalised corrective exercise, mobility, and rehab protocols for each client
- Guide clients remotely through structured check-ins, video form corrections, and progression tracking
- Collaborate closely with our Functional Medicine Doctor, Lifestyle Dietician, and Strength & Conditioning Coach — one client, one plan, four experts
- Educate clients so they understand their own body and movement better after every session
Who you are:
- BPT / MPT (Musculoskeletal, Sports, or functional movement)
- 2+ years of practical experience in movement-based functional asessment
- Deep working knowledge of biomechanics, kinesiology, and functional movement science — non-negotiable
- Skilled communicator — confident on camera, clear in explanations, warm in delivery
- Systems thinker — you understand how a shoulder issue may live in the hip, and how lifestyle affects everything
- Evidence-driven, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning
What this role is NOT:
- Not a high-volume clinic role
- Not passive-modality work (no ultrasound, no shortwave, no 10-minute consults)
- Not solo practice — you're part of an integrated care team
Benefits- Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives
- hybrid role — post probation, working at your convinient location
- Dedicated learning & certification budget for courses, workshops, and conferences
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of functional health experts (doctor, dietician, coach)
- Real ownership — build the physiotherapy arm of a fast-growing functional health practice
- Focused caseload — work deeply with clients, not in high-volume cycles
- Flexible working hours within client-facing time blocks
- A culture that respects clinical depth, evidence-based practice, and long-term thinking
- Opportunity to contribute to content, protocols, and the clinical direction of the company
