Job Summary:

We are seeking Functional Lead & Data Migration Analyst to support the migration of regulatory data of different regulatory processes into Regulatory Information Management (RIM) software. This role will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing end-to-end data migration processes, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and seamless transition from legacy systems to the new platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory data management, migration strategies, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the RIMS implementation
• Develop and oversee the data migration strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand regulatory data structures, processes, and migration requirements.
• Lead functional team members in the execution of data migration activities including data mapping, validation, cleansing, reconciliation and transformation
• Collaborate with regulatory, IT, and business stakeholders to define data mapping, quality standards, and validation rules.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to data migration, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
• Define and implement data governance policies to maintain high-quality regulatory data post-migration.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to data migration team members.
• Report progress, issues, and resolutions to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Support the development of test scripts and test cases for data migration validation.
• Work with IT teams to identify and resolve data migration issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
• Document data migration processes, findings, and best practices.
• Assist in user training and post-migration support to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data migration, data management, or regulatory information systems.
• Knowledge of Regulatory Information Management (RIM) software and industry best practices.
• Extensive proficiency in utilizing Excel effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and manage multiple priorities.
