We’re looking for a strong Full Stack (Back & Front End) Software Engineer with experience building production-grade distributed systems. This is an exciting role to take ownership of our Platform development, architecture, reliability, on-call support & scalability.
Location: India (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: This is a permanent night-shift role, working approx. 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM IST, every working day, to overlap with our global team. Please only apply if a standing night schedule works for you long-term. On top of this, rare weekend on-call is required for critical (Sev 1) production incidents, shared across the team on a rotation.
Help us build the auction platform of the future.
Millions of real-time transactions change hands on our platform every year, with thousands of bidders competing for the same lot at the same second. That's the engineering problem we're solving - and we want you in the room.
Our flagship product, Indy.auction, is a revolutionary, professional white-label auction platform. Brands, non-profits, and creators use it to launch fully customised, beautifully branded auctions and go live for bidding in minutes. It's the technology that's rewriting what an online auction can look like, and you'd be building the engine behind it.
You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with our product and engineering team to build a platform that delights our clients and the audiences bidding on their auctions.
The Auction Collective
We're ex-Christie's, eBay, Artsy, and fundraising auction specialists building the auction technology for the next generation of creators and brands. Our clients range from luxury brands to independent creators, running commercial and fundraising auctions across art, luxury, wine, sport, music, and film — including names like Red Bull, Mercedes F1, Puma and some of the world's most celebrated creators.
We're inclusive, fast-moving, and hands-on, reacting quickly to client needs with new ways of working and new technology.
What you'll get out of the role
You'll be joining a fast-growing, energetic start-up transforming the auction and e-commerce industries — at the ground floor of a new chapter, with a chance to shape the platform from an early, high-impact seat.
Your career, taken seriously
We're a team that backs growth. Every engineer is encouraged to share where they want to go, so we can build that into where the team is going too.
We're also investing directly in your AI fluency: we're partnering with AI specialists to give our engineers structured upskilling, hands-on guidance, and best practices for AI-assisted development.
