Role Description
This is a full-time remote Fullstack Intern role. The selected candidate will work on developing and enhancing web platforms, integrating dynamic user-facing features with a seamless backend. Daily tasks involve writing and debugging code, participating in agile development cycles, assisting in testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. The intern will ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software by adhering to best practices and participating in code reviews.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Fullstack Development, including working knowledge of backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express, Mongodb) and frontend frameworks (Next jd).
- Experience with working on databases (SQL and NoSQL) and designing scalable architectures.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in integration with third-party services.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and agile development principles.
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) and design considerations for intuitive web interfaces.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Previous experience or interest in sustainability or the hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Enrollment in a relevant degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
