Role Description<

The Fullstack Development Intern role at MedSocio is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The intern will support the engineering team in building and maintaining web applications, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and integrating APIs and databases. The intern will collaborate with product and design teams to refine user experiences, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving performance, reliability, and security of the platform. This role offers hands-on learning opportunities with modern development tools and frameworks in a fast-paced startup environment.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with interest in modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
- Basic experience with back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java, and familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL), including basic data modeling and query writing.
- Comfort with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage time in a full-time internship setting.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in healthcare, medical education, or AI-driven products is an added advantage.
