About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our dynamic team on a long-term basis. This role requires an individual who is a high performer, trustworthy, autonomous, and capable of tackling complex architectural challenges. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures that power large web applications. You will work closely with our veteran distributed team, primarily during IST daytime hours, to deliver high-quality solutions that align with our strategic vision. Your expertise will help us enhance our platform’s performance, scalability, and AI integration capabilities, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological innovation in our industry.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess at least 9+ years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. You should have extensive expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express. Proven experience in creating architectural patterns for large-scale, scalable web applications is essential. Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs is required, along with strong experience working with MySQL/RDS and MongoDB databases. You must be a high performer capable of writing modular, reusable, and thoroughly tested code. Additionally, experience with version control workflows using Github, AI tools, and cloud environments like AWS is highly desirable. The candidate should be trustworthy, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely within a distributed team based in India.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable micro-service architectures for large web applications using the MERN stack.
- Write high-quality, optimized, and well-documented code for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (TypeScript, Koa, Express, Typegoose).
- Manage complex storage layers, utilizing MySQL and MongoDB to ensure data integrity and performance optimization.
- Collaborate effectively with team members during IST daytime hours, including participating in daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions.
- Follow Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, ensuring code quality through rigorous reviews and documentation.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests using Jest to guarantee the reliability and stability of deliverables.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and contribute to the development of AI-driven features within our platform.
- Streamline CI/CD pipelines and utilize automation tools to facilitate smooth deployment and integration processes.
- Work efficiently within JIRA and AWS environments to manage tasks, infrastructure, and deployments effectively.
