About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our dynamic team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for a high-performer who is trustworthy, autonomous, and eager to take on complex architectural challenges. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable microservice architectures that power large web applications. Your expertise will directly influence the robustness, performance, and scalability of our products. Collaboration is essential, and you will work closely with our veteran distributed team during IST daytime hours, participating in daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that incorporate AI-driven features, modern CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies, all within a flexible remote environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 9 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating deep expertise in both front-end and back-end development. You should have a strong track record of creating scalable, large web applications with well-architected patterns. Proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express, and experience with GraphQL and REST APIs are essential. You must be well-versed in managing complex data storage layers using MySQL/RDS and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. Familiarity with version control workflows, especially GitHub, is required. Additionally, a strong interest in AI tools and developing AI-driven features will give you an edge. You should be a self-driven, trustworthy professional capable of working independently within a remote, distributed team environment, with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining microservice architectures that support large-scale web applications. You will write high-quality, optimized, and modular code for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (TypeScript, Koa, Express), ensuring adherence to SDLC best practices. Managing complex data storage layers using MySQL and MongoDB will be crucial to optimize data performance and integrity. You will collaborate with team members during IST daytime hours, participating in daily stand-ups, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing sessions. Developing comprehensive unit tests with Jest will ensure the reliability and stability of your work. You will also be responsible for streamlining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and integrating AI-driven features into our products. Working within JIRA and AWS environments to manage tasks and infrastructure will be part of your daily routine. Your role will also involve code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement to ensure our solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry standards.
