About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack MERN Engineer to join our team on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for a versatile developer who excels in designing and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures for large web applications. As a key contributor, you will work closely with our veteran distributed team to develop, optimize, and enhance our platform using the latest technologies. The ideal candidate is a high performer, trustworthy, autonomous, and eager to tackle complex architectural challenges. You will be responsible for writing high-quality, optimized code across front-end and back-end components, managing complex data storage layers, and integrating AI-driven features to elevate our product offerings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing modern tools and cloud-native strategies to push the boundaries of what’s possible in procurement technology.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over 9 years of proven experience as a MERN Stack engineer, demonstrating a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end development. You should have extensive expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, and Node.js frameworks such as Koa and Express. Proven experience in creating scalable architectural patterns for large web applications is essential. Familiarity with GraphQL and REST APIs is required, along with strong proficiency in managing data with MySQL/RDS and MongoDB. You must be a high performer capable of writing modular, reusable, and fully tested code, with a solid understanding of version control workflows using GitHub. Additionally, active use of AI tools and a keen interest in developing AI-driven features are highly desirable. The candidate should be trustworthy, self-driven, and comfortable working remotely within a distributed team environment based in India. A readiness to undergo a rigorous interview process, including technical assessments, is expected.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable micro-service architectures tailored for large web applications utilizing the MERN stack. You will develop high-quality, optimized code for both front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (TypeScript, Koa, Express), ensuring seamless integration and performance. Managing complex storage layers using MySQL and MongoDB will be a critical aspect of your work, with an emphasis on optimizing data integrity and system performance. Collaboration with the existing team during IST daytime hours, including daily stand-ups, is essential for knowledge sharing and architecture reviews. You will follow SDLC best practices by writing clean, well-documented code, conducting rigorous code reviews, and developing comprehensive unit tests using Jest to ensure product stability. Leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and integrating AI-driven features into our platform will be part of your responsibilities. You will also streamline CI/CD pipelines, utilizing automation tools to facilitate smooth deployment processes. Working efficiently within JIRA and AWS environments to manage tasks and infrastructure will be necessary to ensure project success. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will contribute significantly to the growth and evolution of our platform.
