We are Scufd Studio Pvt. Ltd., an international podcast production agency. We are hiring a dedicated, full-time Short-Form Content Editor to join our in-house team (no freelancers). You will be responsible for delivering 12 to 16 highly polished Reels/Shorts per week. This is not a "paint-by-numbers" job; you must be able to listen to a full episode, independently identify the best hooks, and craft compelling short-form pieces from scratch.
Core Responsibilities
- Review full podcast episodes to extract the most compelling audio bites and narrative threads.
- Build a cohesive, high-tension storyline and narrative arc specifically for 1-2 minute teasers.
- Elevate narratives using advanced motion graphics, visual effects, and dynamic text animations (heavy After Effects proficiency is required).
- Execute high-level sound design, including music pacing and SFX integration.
- Work with the post-production team to ensure teasers align with overall podcast episode content.
Requirements
- Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects ONLY. We do not accept DaVinci Resolve, Filmora, CapCut, or any other editing software. No exceptions.
- Narrative Intuition: You must be able to form a compelling story independently. Graphics are meaningless if the narrative does not hook the viewer.
- Flawless English & Grammar: This is non-negotiable. You must have an excellent grasp of the English language to structure narratives and write on-screen text accurately.
- Full-Time Commitment: We are strictly looking for a full-time, dedicated team player. If you are a freelancer looking to juggle multiple clients, this is not the right fit.
- Proactive Storyteller: You don't need your hand held or exact timestamps provided to find the best parts of an episode.
- Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are open to feedback, workflow integration, and working closely with other editors.
- Probation: A mandatory 1-3 month probation period applies to bring you up to speed with team workflows.
