Role Description
Deepan India is seeking a full-time Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development and management of its Artificial Intelligence-driven algorithmic trading platform. The CTO will be responsible for strategizing IT solutions, overseeing software architecture, managing product development cycles, and leading technical projects from concept to completion. This is an on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technology initiatives with the company’s business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Software Development with hands-on experience in designing, coding, and implementing scalable AI-driven systems
- Strong expertise in Project Management and the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage development timelines effectively
- Experience in IT Strategy and Architecture to align technology initiatives with organizational goals and ensure system scalability
- Proven skills in Product Development, including overseeing the lifecycle of AI-enabled financial technology platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor technical teams
- Experience in developing and deploying algorithms for trading systems and ML|Quantitative concepts knowledge are highly desirable
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Passion for financial technology and deep understanding of quantitative trading systems
