About the role
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience building web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work with our product, design, and engineering teams to develop features, improve application performance, and deliver reliable user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
- Develop responsive interfaces with React.js and reusable UI components.
- Design and implement REST APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Create and optimize MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Integrate third-party APIs, authentication, and authorization.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot issues across the frontend, backend, and database.
- Write relevant tests and support application deployments.
- Collaborate with teammates to plan, estimate, and deliver features.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional experience in full stack development using the MERN stack.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with React hooks, routing, and state management.
- Working knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with MongoDB and Mongoose.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and common web security practices.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to debug problems, communicate clearly, and take ownership of assigned work.
Nice to have
- Experience with TypeScript or Next.js.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SQL databases, caching, or real-time features.
