Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Fullstack Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Oculon AI. In this role, you will develop and maintain end-to-end features for our data modeling and analytics platform, building robust backend services and connecting them to seamless frontend interfaces. You'll work on challenging problems including scalable data pipelines, AI agent orchestration, and performance-critical user interfaces. We value engineers who can work independently, leverage AI coding agents effectively, and contribute meaningfully to our technical discussions across the entire stack. Responsibilities
- Develop End-to-End Features: Build and maintain complex features bridging modern React/Next.js user interfaces with scalable Python/FastAPI backend services.
- Backend & Data Pipelines: Design and implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous background processing tasks, data pipelines, and database schemas.
- AI Agent Orchestration: Integrate and orchestrate AI agents using graph-based frameworks to automate tasks and enhance user workflows.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure smooth handling of large-scale, data-intensive workloads across the stack, from client-side state management to database queries and server-side computation.
- Architecture & Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript and Python code, adhering to strong typing conventions and team best practices.
- AI-Assisted Development: Effectively leverage AI coding agents (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality standards.
- Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features and improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Professional experience in fullstack development building complex Web applications.
- Frontend Core: Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Backend Core: Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.
- Asynchronous & Queueing: Celery and Redis.
- AI & LLMOps: Experience with graph-based AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Development Practices: Experience with testing methodologies (unit, integration) and building scalable architecture.
- API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and real-time updates.
- Self-Starter Mindset: Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of features, and solve complex problems without constant supervision.
- AI Coding Tools: Comfortable using AI coding agents effectively in your development workflow while maintaining code quality.

- High-Performance Backend: Experience with Go (Golang).
- Advanced Frontend: AG-Grid, IndexedDB.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure, GCP.
- DevOps & IaC: Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker.
