An architecture and urban design practice in Vasanth Nagar, Bangalore- is hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Developer with 5 to 8 years of professional experience to take technical ownership of an existing technology platform developed for land feasibility analysis, spatial intelligence, planning regulations, and design automation.
The platform has already been substantially developed, and this role involves understanding the existing application through a structured technical handover, managing deployment and maintenance, enhancing existing features, resolving technical issues, and supporting the platform's ongoing development in collaboration with architects, designers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Understand the existing application architecture, codebase, and system workflows during the technical handover process
- Take ownership of the deployment, maintenance, performance, and continuous enhancement of the platform
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of the application
- Build responsive user interfaces using React.js and Next.js
- Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Enhance features supporting land feasibility analysis, spatial intelligence, design automation, and 3D visualization
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database components and contribute to the platform's microservices architecture
- Integrate third-party APIs, external services, and asynchronous messaging systems where required
- Support the integration of computational models and optimization workflows into the platform
- Collaborate with architects, designers, product stakeholders, and technical teams to translate functional requirements into software solutions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, deployment, and continuous platform improvements
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the long-term stability, scalability, and maintainability of the platform
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Full Stack Software Development
- Experience working with existing software applications, including understanding, maintaining, enhancing, and deploying production systems
- Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
- Understanding of microservices architecture and scalable application development
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and optimizing production web applications
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and asynchronous messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar technologies
- Experience with Three.js, Babylon.js, WebGL, or other 3D visualization technologies
- Familiarity with Python-based computational or optimization workflows will be an added advantage
- Experience working with GIS, Architecture, Construction Technology, Urban Planning, Spatial Intelligence, or similar technology products will be an added advantage
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Agile software development environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code following software development best practices
Work Schedule
- Location: Vasanth Nagar, Bangalore
- Working days: Monday - Friday (9:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
