About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in extracting and integrating data from third-party APIs (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, QuickBooks, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of API authentication (OAuth, Tokens) and data handling best practices, along with experience in Django / FastAPI for backend development and PostgreSQL for data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate, and maintain Python scripts to extract data from third-party platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, QuickBooks, and others)
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based data pipelines and extraction processes
- Implement and manage API authentication and error handling mechanisms
- Build and maintain backend services using FastAPI and/or Django
- Store, retrieve, and manage extracted data in PostgreSQL databases efficiently
- Proficiency or working experience in some of the frontend / middleware technologies including Nest.js, Node.js, Express.js, React, Angular, and Next.js
- Troubleshoot and optimize API integrations for performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of strong proficiency in Python with hands-on API development and integration experience
- Proven experience working with REST APIs - OAuth, Webhooks, Tokens, etc.
- Solid experience with Django for building scalable backend applications
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL - queries, indexing, and optimization
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js, Nest.js, and/or Next.js
- Basic to working knowledge of React / Angular / Express.js
- Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies is a plus
Nice to have:
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure.
- Advanced DevOps: General knowledge of infrastructure as code and automated deployment strategies.
