About The Role
We are seeking a talented PHP Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Comply. This role involves developing and maintaining high-quality backend solutions that support our compliance platform. The ideal candidate is passionate about coding, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to work on a variety of projects that directly impact our clients' success. As part of our team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps professionals, to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in PHP and experience working with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and MVC architecture.
- Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code to develop new features and maintain existing applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend components and APIs to support our compliance platform.
- Integrate user-facing elements created by front-end developers with server-side logic to ensure seamless functionality.
- Design and implement secure data storage solutions utilizing SQL or NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Troubleshoot, test, and optimize core product software to ensure high performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices, applying them to enhance our platform’s capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
